Con la entrada de la primavera, el campo nos deleita con toda una sinfonía de olores y colores.

El contraste entre los suaves contornos de Los Lagos  y la impactante presencia de nuestro “puente-bola” no dejan a nadie indiferente, y consiguen que tradición e innovación estén presentes en un mismo paisaje. El proyecto de este puente fue creado por la empresa local TEGOBI e Hijos, y el diseño se desarrolló de la mano de José Gonzalez («Pepe el Bigote»).

¿Quién se anima a estrenar estación y campo con nosotros?

Y no te pierdas nuestra zona de prácticas totalmente renovada. Ya están abiertos el putting y el pitching green, el bunker de prácticas y la zona de césped del driving range.

With the beginning of spring, the course delights us with a real symphony of perfumes and colors.

The gentle outlines of Los Lagos course in contrast to the stunning appearance of our “bridge-ball” cannot leave anybody indifferent; proving that it is possible to mix tradition and innovation on the same scenery. This bridge project was created by the local company TEGOBI & sons and the designed was developed by José González (Pepe «Mustache»).

Who wants to commence a new season in a new golf course?

And don’t miss our totally renewed practice area. Now we have opened the putting & pitching green, the practice bunker and the grass area of the driving range.

You will be able to access to the 11th hole by crossing our famous "bridge-ball".

Congratulations!!!! To Mr. Osmo Aki, who made a “Hole in One” in the Hole no. 16 of Los Olivos on the 4th of March 2013. Mr. Aki used a 7 Iron from a distance of 130 meters.

¡¡¡ Felicidades!!!! Al Sr. Osmo Aki,  que realizó un “Hoyo en Uno” en el Hoyo nº 16 de Los Olivos el 4 de Marzo de 2013. Para ello utilizó un Hierro 7 desde una distancia de 130 metros.

A continuación os presentamos nuestro Calendario de Competiciones para la presente temporada, esperando de todo corazón que se repita la magnífica acogida con la que nos habéis obsequiado en años anteriores.

La mayoría de estos torneos cuenta ya con numerosas ediciones que avalan la enorme experiencia de sus patrocinadores, y cuya celebración es esperada con gran ilusión por muchos de los que ya nos conocen. Tanto a ellos como a los que se animen a participar por primera vez, os esperamos para hacer de cada una de ellas una jornada inolvidable.

And now, we would like to present you our Competitions Calendar for the present season, sincerely hoping to repeat of the splendid reception achieved during the past years.

Most of these tournaments have now many years of experience behind, endorsed by the seniority of the sponsors, and they are expected to be held with great enthusiasm by many of our regular customers. Doesn’t matter if you are one of them, or a player who intends to participate for the first time, your presence will help us to make of these dates a wonderful journey.

Unidos por una buena causa.

La competición en Mijas Golf el 15 de Febrero recaudó más de 700 euros para Cudeca.

La quinta competición de la temporada de Sydkusten Trophy se organizó en colaboración con la Asociación Hispano-Nórdica y tuvo además un carácter benéfico. Participaron más de 100 jugadores nórdicos y gracias a un gran rifa con premios patrocinados se recaudó más de 700 euros para la asociación Cudeca, para tratamientos de pacientes con cáncer.

Fue un día espectacular, sin viento (por fin) y con temperaturas por encima de los 20 grados. Además, la competición se jugó en el completamente transformado campo de Los Lagos, en Mijas Golf. El campo hace más que nunca honor a su nombre y es ahora casi de considerar un links, con todos los retos que esto conlleva.

Los premiados fueron los siguientes:

Grupo A (hcp. 0-18,5)

2 Bjørn Enoksen, slope 20 – 33 puntos

3 Christer Sunesson, slope 16 – 31 puntos

 Together for a good cause

Mijas Golf competition on 15th of February collected more than 700 euros for Cudeca.

The fifth Sydkusten Trophy competition of this season was organized with the collaboration of the Hispano-Nordic Association and was charitable.

More than 100 Nordic players participated and, thanks to a great raffle of sponsored prizes, it was possible to collect more than 700 euros, funds allocated to patients with cancer treatments.

The weather was fantastic (no wind at last) with temperatures over 20 degrees. In addition, the competition took place on the completely renewed Los Lagos, in Mijas Golf. The course now enhances its name more than ever; it could be considered a Links course, with all the challenges that his type of course entails.

Después de cuatro meses desde su cierre, ayer por fín se pudo abrir la parte de las alfombrillas del campo de prácticas.

Ya desde por la mañana temprano, muchos fueron los que se animaron a venir y probar esta parte de nuestras mejoradas instalaciones.

La zona de cesced, aunque también se ve verde ya, tendrá que esperar un poco más; pues aún está demasiado «blanda» para tanto ajetreo.

Con respecto a lo demás – putting green, pitching green y bunker de prácticas – también se pueden observar ya los cambios.

A ver qué os parece a vosotros.

Yesterday, after four months since we closed it, we could finally open the carpets area in our driving range.

It was still early in the morning when many visitors came to try this part of our improved facilities.

Although it is also looking green, the grass area will have to wait a little longer; as it is to soft to be used yet.

And the rest – putting green, pitching green and practice bunker – is just progressing at a steady pace.
