The Golden Golf Tournament in Spain is OPEN for ALL GOLFERS.
The Lions Club and Tourist Board of Mijas are hosting the Lions Golf World Cup & European Championship 2018 from March 25th to April 1st. Lions will meet from every part of the world to enjoy culture events and golf on two of the best golf courses Andalucia has to offer. The two Mijas golf courses “Los Lagos & Los Olivos” are master pieces of the famous course designer Robert Trent Jones Sr.
The Tamisa Golf Hotel was chosen as the official event hotel not only for its perfect position next to the Mijas Los Lagos golf course but also for its special charm and outstanding service and friendly staff.
One of the targets of this event is to generate donations for the Lions Clubs International fund to eradicate the measles virus which causes blindness in children.
FOR LOCAL PLAYERS: The golf tournament is open to all golfers and will be held March 30th + 31st with the prize giving gala at Tamisa Golf Hotel. El Torneo Golden de Golf de España está ABIERTO para TODOS LOS GOLFISTAS.
El Club de Leones y el Patronato de Turismo de Mijas albergarán la Copa del Mundo de Golf de Leones y el Campeonato Europeo 2018 del 25 de marzo al 1 de abril.
Los Leones se reunirán de todas partes del mundo para disfrutar de eventos culturales y jugar al golf en dos de los mejores campos de golf que Andalucía les ofrece. Los dos campos de golf de Mijas «Los Lagos y Los Olivos» son obras maestras del famoso diseñador Sr. Robert Trent Jones.
Tamisa Golf Hotel fue elegido como el hotel de eventos oficial no solo por su ubicación perfecta junto al campo de golf de Mijas Los Lagos, sino también por su encanto especial y el excelente servicio del amable personal.
Uno de los objetivos de este evento es conseguir donaciones para la Fundación de Lions Clubs International para erradicar el virus del sarampión que causa ceguera principalmente en los niños.
